Jason Murrell, co-founder of the Murfin Group, stands at the forefront of cyber security innovation with over two decades of dedicated experience in the start-up and technology sectors. As the Chair of Cyber Security Certification Australia (CSCAU), Jason plays a pivotal role in shaping cyber security standards to be both accessible and robust, particularly for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). His leadership in CSCAU underscores a commitment to not only enhancing cyber security measures across various industries but also to ensuring these practices are dynamic and affordable.

ABOUT Tom Finnigan

Tom Finnigan, co-founder of the Murfin Group, brings an unparalleled depth of experience to the realm of public relations and media strategy, with a career that spans over three decades. His journey includes a significant 23 year tenure in broadcast television, working with major networks such as CH10 and SBS TV, where he honed his storytelling and visual communication skills.

Notably, Tom spent 17 years in the Federal Press Gallery at Parliament House in Canberra, with 10 of those years as the Chief Cameraman for SBS TV. This extensive background in a high stakes, fast paced environment has endowed him with a unique perspective on strategic communication, particularly in crafting narratives that resonate and engage.

In transitioning to public relations, Tom has applied his broadcast expertise to elevate brands within the cyber security and technology sectors, notably leading PR and media strategy for influential organisations like the Stone & Chalk Group and AustCyber. His approach is strategic and insightful, focusing on creating tailored communication plans that align closely with business goals and audience expectations.
